Mini ROV Survey
Xiom Scotland use the latest mini ROV technology to carry out underwater inspections, sonar surveys and corrosion analysis. Our equipment is a cost effective alternative to expensive ROV spreads in confined or inaccessible areas (e.g. FPSO Turrets).
Flexible Riser Annulus Testing
Xiom Scotland use specialist equipment to carry out Riser Annulus Testing. The purpose of this testing is to establish the integrity of the Riser Annulus (the void between the internal and external plastic sheaths of the riser) and check for contamination. This procedure is usually carried out annually as part of the riser maintenance.

Pipeline Camera Inspection
Xiom Scotland use state of the art equipment to inspect and record pipelines from 3" to 36" for blockage, damage or corrosion. We operate push cameras through driven vehicle units depending on individual applications.
Ultrasonic Leak Testing
Xiom Scotland uses the latest EP2400 range of ultrasonic testing equipment to locate leaks in gas and air pipelines and joints, leaks in pressure and vacuum systems, leaking tanks and vessels, steam traps and passing or leaking valves etc while live under pressure or no pressure.
Mechanical Malfunctions
Detection of mechanical malfunctions, noise in bearing cases or other movable machinery before it occurs. We can also locate arcing in electrical systems.
Subsea Blast Cleaning
Xioms patented low pressure Hydro Blast equipment gives fast effective cleaning of marine growth and corrosion to depths of 200mts and is up to 15 times faster than conventional systems. The system offers quiet low pressure operation ideally suited for use with divers or ROV, with little disruption to marine life. The system can cut concrete leaving a firm clear edge, it is supplied with experienced offshore operatives.
Hose and Pipeline Testing
Xiom offer Hydrostatic testing and flushing of all marine delivery hoses, hydraulic and fluid hoses and pipelines either on or offshore. Xioms testing equipment meets the requirements of OCIMF and provides the client with documentation confirming test results against manufacturers.
